I remember when we held tenant rights bootcamps back in 2015, Grow SF came claiming they were different than YIMBY/BARF, believed in tenant rights, etc. In reality, it’s just another sleazy industry PAC, slinging mud, incapable of engaging on issues.

How are the two different? News to me that an org with the same name pushing the same issues in the same City isn’t the same org. Did they reorganize under the same name? Very strange.

It’s a different group entirely that chose the same name, it’s been upfront about being a SF political mod group from the start. The old GrowSF merged with BARF to become YIMBY a long time ago

I made this mistake a couple years ago; if you’re not involved in that space the overlap is confusing
