Love that skit, but does this usually work for you? Name calling and false equivalency until you get your way to build whatever you want, no matter how impractical or expensive? I suppose so, but I'm standing firm. We build smart, efficient, and target the market where it counts

And it's *never* been the case that anyone can build anything and it automatically helps everyone. We have building codes and zoning for a reason. And racism. But also real reasons related to planning and ensuring that homes and workplaces are close enough not to burden highways

So if you knocked down everything tomorrow and build as many $3million condos as you could physically build, that would not in fact be the ideal livable city. It would not help regular people live close to where they work. It would just be a waste. We build homes for workers now

It’s a cultural reference to describe your position, not meant to be name calling. I did not say anyone build anything or knock down everything (that’s called a strawman). Again, feel free to bring substance to the discussion (i.e., respond to the links), otherwise I’ll bow out.
