I never voted to fund the Iraq war or the war in Afghanistan either.
So incumbency has its perks, and its drawbacks too. Speaker Pelosi can claim and take blame for everything passing by her desk. I'm willing to accept that burden and do better for regular people like you and me
Maybe things are different in Oklahoma. Here the progressives and the conservatives are all "Democrats", and we on the left see the incumbent as a conservative impediment to real progress. I can understand how coming from a redder state she seems like fresh air vs your rep. 💙
Another ill conceived assumption. I reside in Oklahoma having been transferred here after spending 30 years living & working in LA CA and voting for real Democrats not unlike
I gave up. As I said I don't suffer fools well. His "Not I, we." profile statement is laughable; his circumlocution and aversion to answer questions directly is annoying and indicative of inexperience. There's a hint of misogyny & condescension.
Almost like the voice of a generation tired of the broken promises and failed policies that came before? Health care, work that pays, houses we could afford?
Nancy Pelosi let us all down, and I'm running for Congress to pick up the pieces.
