Checked out the Lunar New Year celebration out at the #GreatWalkway. Saw some kites, took some photos, watched an amazing show put on by the Lowell HS Lion Dancers. Those footpads are 5 feet high! The pole like 10!
Some tall Wiener stood in front of everybody the entire time 🙄

And the percussion band behind played their hearts out for the dancers, made for an awesome, acrobatic show.
Then Wiener and Chiu decided to stand directly in front for pictures before the band even finished. Everyone started to disperse of course; we didn't come for them.

I was happy to hang back and just enjoy the energy. Supervisor Mar, to his credit, spoke briefly to welcome, and avoided inserting himself into the show's finale. Amazing job by all the students; credit to the families, and all the supporters who came out to celebrate them!

Tall weiners can get good pictures from the back but short people standing behind the tall weiner can only get a good shot of the back of talk weiner's head...

I got plenty of my own 😄 Though he is thin enough to see around for the most part. I mean Mr Wiener if the pun wasn't clear. Other politicians stood back to the side. Though performing in the round, there isn't really a side, but there's definitely a forward/backward. Small dig.
