Sharks are cold blooded and big ones even benefit from a built-in homeostasis due to their sizes and organ placement. They don't [need to] eat as often as people might think and they're not biting everything that swims around all the time. But yeah balls of steel still :)

They're not cold blooded, actually. They're, like any other fish in the ocean, poikilotherms; meaning their internal temperature is the same as the water they're in at the time.
