i REVIEWED the entire Pokémon series for @Kotaku Dot Com!
i set out to answer the question "why is pokémon so popular?" in my investigation, i realized it has a LOT in common with con-artistry. yes, pokémon is pretty much a criminal scam—and i LOVE IThttps://kotaku.com/pokemon-has-a-lot-in-common-with-confidence-games-1840003186 …

reminder: the meme that 'kotaku is dying' is a necessary part of the remnants of Gamergate to convince themselves they've ever accomplished anything
-
Is there irony in the fact that if something causes kotaku’s death it would be corrupt dipshits that are trying to strip mine the website for profit, pretty much the embodiment of the thing gamergate pretended to be concerned about? Yes. But it’s hack to say so

A lot of your colleagues gave Kotaku its current reputation by forcing politics into their content to the point people got sick of it. People are probably just sad that you're stuck in the middle of that because you're one of the few writer who doesn't do that.
-
Exactly. It's not fair for a good writer who writes about what he was hired to is drowned out by political activists who only use gaming as a vehicle to further their own world views. Kotaku IS a dumpster fire, and I think all this viewer is trying to say is you are wasted there.
