Question for the experts; I've had no end of pain trying to get a decent VisualStudio based wdm setup, and even if I follow the docs to the last comma I end up not being able to deploy and debug from a host to a target, in a VM or on a real box. Tell me I'm not the only one.?

A small addition - offset to DpcStack can be found via KDDEBUGGER_DATA64::OffsetPrcbDpcStack.

Awesome! I was not familiar with KDDEBUGGER_DATA64, Looks pretty useful
Thank you!
I'll probably update the solutions later when I finish.. There are many updates I need to write:)

Fun only because you have VM. Imagine your life in the kernel mode before 2000.

Special serial cable connecting two physical hosts for kernel debugging with Windbg. Baud rate set to 115200, IIRC. Our Solaris kernel dev was jealous!

Writing signatures for undocumented windows kernel stuff in HIGH_LEVEL IRQL sure is fun (BSODs are also fun)
