[THREAD] Blaming video games for violence is stupid. There are so many factors contributing to violent crime - such as shootings - that narrowing it down to one thing, such as video games is outright sensationalism and entirely for clicks. It's a shame the world we live in.

Today I graduated !!!! 2:1 in BSc(Hons) Computing for Games

So to have financial problems you can't own anything at all? Does it say what model of iPhone or if it was second hand or paid off? No it doesn't. I'm sorry but financial problems vary, and just because they own something doesn't mean they can't have financial problems.

It's really nice when management/colleagues commend you for your work Find it a lot at my current place. I've been here for 4 weeks and I think every manager has complemented my work ethic and how easily I adapt on the spot, even whilst under pressure

One more shift to go before University now... It's been a tough ride but a fun one and it's great to know that I've been so appreciated by both colleagues and managers over the short time I've worked for ASDA. I've learned a lot by working there and I've changed so much.

I started in October on a Christmas contract, I stepped up in March and started running shifts on my own during a pandemic. I ran a team of 10-15 people for 4 nights a week doing 40-50 hour weeks. It's been a great experience and will hopefully help me in my future career.

the only spellcheck i know is intellisense at least my variable names are consistent unlike my spellings of actual words in essays but hey, `someVarThatDoesSomethingButIdkWhatAnymore` is easier than writing an essay though right guys ? and more coherent than the word wall I write

Just got an email from a job I applied to 7 months ago saying they are not proceeding with my application. Thats all good, but 7 months... Jesus (I already acknowledged that they were going to deny me but still)

I'm so glad that I took a gap year. I've done what I planned to do, primarily, getting myself into a good position financially and in regards to my transition. I've cut it fine by far, starting medication 5 weeks before starting university.
