Today my TL is *full* of adults young enough to have had computers as a teen talking about the lasting harm of being spied on by parents.

@0xabad1dea i just don't talk to my parents any more over the stuff they did (and continue to think i should just get over, because ~love~) -
@eevee I'm caught in a cycle of "I should let my mother back into my life, I know she loves me" and then remembering all the stuff. -

@eevee my parental relationship story is complicated. I don't think hurting me was ever her intention but she sure managed it repeatedly.
