Rapid high-dimension equilibrium-finding is a) algorithmically nontrivial, b) a basic primary building block of intelligence, and c) subsidized in our universe by the physics of momentum and energy.
Entropy is simultaneously an epistemic and a physical quantity. Not by analogy; the same concept at the same time. Chew on that for a minute; epistemic interactions are basic to our kind of matter.
