1/ Memes aside - our proximity (regardless of whether it’s 5, 50 or 100 years) to AGI only makes the Fermi paradox more extreme. The fact *none* of the cosmos has been visibly deconstructed by some previous civ’s (misaligned?) AI raises *huge* questions…

2/ more than anything else, this has convinced me we are alone (or the most advanced? The first?) in the galaxy (even the visible universe?) However…. let’s entertain the idea that pilots, military personnel and navy fleets do actually see truly inexplicable things.

How do you reconcile seemingly intelligent “phenomena” as reported and the obviously uneaten-by-AI cosmos? being alone in the galaxy/universe, Earth is an incredibly interesting place. So… we’re in flatland. And we’ve attracted the attention of *something…*

Interesting 🤔 I subscribe to the Ancient Astronaut Theory - I think we’ve been contacted many times by ETs and the writing is literally on the wall. When it comes to tech in the present-day, I’m not sure but I believe ancients had access to/ witnessed advanced tech 👽
