SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet has 500,000 pre-orders and the installation is entirely DIY. It comes with a tripod and that’s it...you’re just supposed to chuck it in your yard and then drill a hole in your house to get the wires in.

im just saying think critically about starlink considering once again, the installation is completely DIY and nobody is trained/certified to install it + it will be used for military purposes + consider this while remembering the guy behind it

It’s a small dish that can be deployed anywhere in the world - of course it doesn’t come with a trained technician lol
plus it's not like it's free, for many of the global poor and underserved who you claim to champion, it comes with a hefty price tag + monthly payments so it's doubtful that the underserved will even come close to touching this tech
