I skipped the help desk, the NOC graveyard, the Admin role. I did that because I leveraged my soft skills, not my tech skills!!!

What separates you from me if our resumes and experience are equal? Hiring managers hear and see the same skill sets every day but they don't know how you'll react under pressure vs how I will, or how you'll deal with a difficult team mate and so on..soft skills!

You have no idea how the best of the industry have no "soft skills". They are hackers, no social skills, but yet they hire you because of soft skills. Then you get hacked because you have no real skills.

I mean, I haven't been in the field long enough to know if that's true or not, but if so 🤷🏾♂️ you'll have a leg up on the competition moving forward by building and developing your soft skills.
