You wonder why few mainstream journalists touch it. Trust me, many have an extreme interest in it, especially in the defense aerospace world, but the baggage is clear and it's still placed as infotainment at best by most outlets.

And this could be to try to explain aspects of it, 'debunk it,' or whatever, not just in the affirmative "their here" sense. Critical minds aren't really that welcome in a lot of areas of this topic. Having an open mind only seems to work one way.
