The answer seems obvious: Terrestrial explanations for what is on these three grainy & blurry videos doesn't make for good TV drama, & $$ investments in your To the Stars Academy will dry up. But isn't the truth more important than notoriety & wealth?

Why not be honest and balance your claim that these videos represent alien contact (or foreign assets) with competing hypotheses that they represent camera distortions, lens aberrations, & other such mundane phenomena?

Look I agree DeLonge is a clown but do you honestly think the Pentagon hasn’t done more to find out what these are than Mick West in his garage?
I’ll take the pilots testimony and the investigative resources of the Pentagon, whether or not DeLonge is a side show

No where does any of that suggest aliens. But it does require at least an admission that we do not know what they are - not handwave and point at something that explains only a fraction of it
