Genuinely wanna solve the cross border payments. Had to pay 💰 137 INR to a bank in US and had to pay 10x charges.
also doesn’t have such high charges. :(

Expectations after the hard fork:
By reducing the sprint length, hardfork will help reduce the frequency & depth of reorgs, & improve transaction finality.
The change will not affect the total time or no. of blocks a validator produces, so there will be no change in rewards.

Upgrade 2: Decrease the sprint length from 64 to 16 blocks.
By reducing the length to 16 blocks, this means a single block producer will produce blocks continuously for a much shorter time (~32 sec) than the current (~128 seconds). Doing so will reduce the depth of reorgs.

Upgrade 1: Change the BaseFeeChangeDenominator from the current value of 8 to 16.
This will help smooth out the increase/decrease rate in baseFee for when the gas exceeds or falls below the target gas limits in a block.

The #zkEVM testnet was designed from the engine (zkProver).
We created public.zkevm-test.net back in October once we had complete, auditable ZK proofs with EVM-equivalence.
After 50k+ proofs, we know how we can scale #Ethereum. Working to speed it up.
