tbh i think an offline/fidb tool you linked in your other tweet makes sense to me. lots of peeps keep their disasms offline.
Is there interest for something like Lumina for Ghidra? A script that sends FID hashes as queries to a server which returns a function name and signature. What I linked to was a collection of .fidb files. These are Function ID Datasets. Function ID is an already build in feature of Ghidra. Ghidra's Function ID ~ Hex Ray's F.L.I.R.T Lumina works online. There is no equivalent for Ghidra... yet ;).
