    These short inserts do indeed exist in relative to its closest sequenced relative (BetaCoV/bat/Yunnan/RaTG13/2013, seen here ). However, a simple BLAST of such short sequences shows match to a huge variety of organisms. No reason to conclude HIV.

    I'm hardly an optimist about American capacity for technical leadership, but LOL this is delusional

    There's likely nothing America can do now to stop China taking the lead in technology across the board and once that happens American leadership will never be regained. Analysts talk about making America more 'competitive' but it's a losing game against a much bigger country.

    Give me "6 Steps" if I'm a suburban megachurch customer, or give me a systematic theology if I'm an intellectual. Leave all that stuff about foreskins, entrails, blood, saliva, semen, mold, water, fire, earth, smoke, wine, bread, linen, silver, gold, and the rest out of it.
