  1. Hm, twitter continues to be too good of a novelty-stimulus. Time for another round of painful unsubscriptions (I'll List you if I do).
  2. @bramcohen http://allmydata.org/trac/pyutil/browser/pyutil/pyutil/iputil.py
  3. @cperciva At the moment I'm more in the mode of donating source and accepting money than vice versa. You are more than welcome to our code!
  4. @cperciva Way to go! I consider tarsnap to be a competitor to my Tahoe-LAFS project, but donating profits to open source is classy.
  5. @olabini @psnively @nuttycom See the work on no-global-namespace module system in Newspeak http://bit.ly/Os7qS
  6. @USSJoin I have no idea what it takes to replicate or backup CouchDB. I would be interested in learning though!
  7. @USSJoin Oh yeah, my personal server is down. I just replaced it with a link to my blog hosted on a decentralized storage grid. :-)
  8. @USSJoin You mean this blog: http://bit.ly/23hZKk ? It works for me. What sort of failure do you see?
  9. @spyced Thanks! I really appreciate you introducing us in the first place.
  10. It turns out that Boulder, Colorado is an excellent place to have broken your anterior cruciate ligament. http://bit.ly/23hZKk
  11. I've unfollowed enough people (I Listed them) that twitter no longer consumes all my time. Strange to load it and get no jolt of novelty.
  12. The lawyers here at #flatirons say that nobody treats Subject lines as "non-content", but http://www.newsweek.com/id/174602 said otherwise.
  13. Q: Why do your clients demand legal paperwork before giving user data to the gov't? A: Because if they don't, the EFF sues them. #flatirons
  14. The #flatirons conference got interesting, but I still managed to finish this note: KDF==MAC&Poly1305>HMAC http://bit.ly/5uDcA3
  15. Somebody should tell the story about the Time-Travelling Robot Brains from the Future. #flatirons
  16. Want to see what other people are saying about this conference? Search for hash mark followed by "flatirons".
  17. @Nicky_M_5 Nils Durner combined bzr with Tahoe-LAFS.
  18. So far everyone agrees that they don't know, and that Congress knows even less. I'm glad I have my laptop so I can work on cryptography.
  19. It's really weird hanging out with all these judges and D.A.'s and law professors. I'm totally out of place in my "hackers" t-shirt.
