  1. What's a word to describe the representation of sounds in nature through music? Kinda like a musical onomatopoeia.
  2. @johnrust Chihuahuas, rodents, tomato, "tomahto."
  3. We throw pieces of bread at our chihuahuas as if they were ducks at a pond.
  4. Four part writing, according to Bach: http://www.peabody.jhu.edu/...
  5. @johnrust If that thing starts saying "Dave" in an eerily calm voice, I'm taking it back.
  6. @emilyplayscello Guessing you normally use A415?
  7. Found this old recording of me when I was 14 at UNF's piano camp performing Rachmaninoff. Decent considering my age: http://is.gd/5885A
  8. Guess though music competition has its appeal to other students in this sports soaked culture, as a source of motivation in music practice.
  9. I was in piano competition for a year. Made music miserable for me. Didn't like how it twisted music into a sport, and hindered creativity.
  10. I want a device that looks like a bird and that speaks tweets. It could sound like a parrot for retweets too.
  11. I get desperate sometimes: http://twitpic.com/rirta
  12. @PianistTweet You can also put Czerny pieces instead of coal in Christmas stockings for all the bad little boys and girls (too harsh?).
  13. @PianistTweet I say we create a Czerny dart board.
  14. At church today, I improvised Alberti bass on one of the hymns, which is pretty simple. They were all amazed. Feel like I'm cheating.
  15. @jonathande4 Nice. Now you have only 10 more movies, and 726 episodes to go. :P
  16. Wrote this devious legal contract on the back of a name tag at a debate camp I attended. Didn't quite work http://twitpic.com/rfc84
  17. @johnrust Here's mine. Mostly music, UI design, politics, and humor subscriptions: http://files.me.com/sherida...
  18. @johnrust "You were poked by @zRows. [poke back] | [remove poke]"
  19. If there were such thing as Twitter groups, I'd join the one that is titled "I remember back in the day when all tweets began with 'is'".
  20. Think even toasters collect less crumbs and dust compared to Apple's old white keyboards.
