  11. Finally got the PS3 back on a gigabit connection. Unfortunately, it seems to be impossible to tell the difference between that and 100mbps.

  14. @codinghorror my rig uses 5x the power, but encodes 10x faster (I have a mini also, just because of the power reqs)
  15. Is there a reasonably priced video editing application for the PC that DOESN'T crash?
  16. New rig was pulling 535+ watts while trying to tax it. Wasn't using both video cards at 100%.
  17. Overclocked my i7 computer to 3.8GHz, still within Intel specs, and runs very cool. 4GHz was a lot hotter, and out of the Intel specs.
  18. Benchmarked 2 slightly older hard drives in a RAID 0 config vs a newer, single drive. The RAID config won by quite a bit.
  19. 1.3.1 Update is out for the Palm Pre! Get it while it's hot. Palm Pixi coming out tomorrow for $30.
