  1. Is the offseason over yet? Thank god for FIFA10...
  2. 1-0 final. United over the Fire who continue their shit performance while at Toyota Park. I thought it was called home field advantage?
  3. 1-0 D.C. (who?) over the Fire at the half. Once again the Fire seem afraid to take a shot and can't capitalize on loose balls in the box.
  4. Sorry about the lack of tweets lately. Work/Life getting in the way of productivity. We'll be back soon, promise.
  5. @pitchinvasion I agree with you. Donovan busted his ass, and when he finally took a shot, look what happened.
  6. Now the Fire have to rely on goal differential in order to make the semis.
  7. 2-1 Tigres Final. The only offensive spark for the Fire came from Nyarko subbing in for Rolfe in the second half. Pathetic showing.
  8. Nyarko brought down in the box. Blanco converts the pk. 2-1 Tigres.
  9. Blanco freekick becomes Tigres fast break goal. The Fire should be ashamed of themselves. They look like all they want to do is nap.
  10. Fire playing abysmally tonight. No one told the defense they had a game to play tonight apparently. 1-0 Tigres at the half.
  11. According to ESPNSoccernet, Brazil has beaten South Africa 1-0. Looks like the Yanks will have a chance to redeem their 3-0 thrashing.
  12. Well I was going to do updates on the Brazil v. South Africa game but the power is out. Hooray ComEd.
  13. I suspect we'll see Rolfe in for Nyarko at the start of the 2nd due to his lack of finishing.
  14. Nyarko has been unlucky twice so far, once missing a wide open "gimme" header, and another strike going off the pole.
  15. End of the first half. It was pretty uneventful with a 0-0 score. The sounders haven't threatened much if at all.
  16. Yeah the blog might be a few weeks behind the times, but we'll be tweeting live from tonight's match against Seattle.
  17. After 2 minutes of stoppage time and an incredible(ly lucky?) save by hartman, the final is 2-2. Fire remain unbeaten but deserved the win.
  18. Goal KC. 89' 2-2
  19. Goal KC. 78'. 2-1 fire
  20. With blanco making his first start of the season, the fire look surprisingly quick on the attack. And the wiz has yet to challenge busch.
