  14. You know it's Opera Scenes time when the dressing rooms are filled with costumes and large men's shoes.
  15. Phone call about the Opera Scenes on Saturday night. She bought a ticket and then said, "Thank you for not making me go out in the rain!"
  16. The kids are cheering and clapping and screaming for the opera performers like they're rock stars.
  17. Patter of little feet and the chatter of excited voices: it's an opera preview for young audiences!
  18. Wondering how the word "new" accidentally got into our description of a concert of music from the seventeenth century.
  19. Rehearsals for the fall Opera Scenes production are now on stage, with costumes and props and the beginnings of lighting.
