  1. @honcheng I know for certain that updates would appear on the new releases list in August 2009. Think the change was in last 2-4 weeks.
  2. @ChuckSmith I checked, still no Genius in US or Canadian App Store app. Still just "New" and "What's Hot". Oh, maybe you're running 3.1?
  3. @bunnyhero It was rumoured, then I saw it in iTunesConnect FAQ under "App Store", then it happened.
  4. @runmad Yes, the update system was abused. But now no incentive to add features for free. Better to create a new app "BlahBlah 2".
  5. Apps no longer get bumped to the top on new version. Well, that's one way to discourage devs from providing free updates. #iphonedev
  6. An easy way to clear out the crap in the AppStore: Require that each app icon is unique. (Travel area is full of shovelware.) #iphonedev
  7. There’s a reason why it’s “scapegoat” and not “scapewolf” or “scapelion”. [from comment @: http://is.gd/53mX4 ]
  8. hmm, I don't see it. RT @ChuckSmith: Anyone else notice the new Genius tab on the iPhone's App Store? http://moby.to/vaagwy #iphonedev
  9. @gruber A test of mousemove vs touchmove: http://radar.xinsight.ca/ Also, there must be some killer javascript/html5/canvas game examples.
  10. Wow. Impressed with how many sneaky bugs (including ones I didn't even know I had) are caught with "Build and Analyze" in Xcode. #iphonedev
  11. @AboutCBC Looks similar to the iphone interface. But the popup windows, pulldown menus and embedded windows-media is not so hot.
  12. @kapsoft Whew! Thanks. UPS and other couriers screw Canadians over with nasty brokerage fees. e.g. $20 fee to collect $2.
  13. @AdamSchwabe A shocking number of places are gone on that strip of Queen now. Slowly turning into a ghost town.
  14. @runmad I blame the beta process. Far too painful for regular people. UDID, certificates, unzipping, drag into iTunes, syncing, etc.
  15. @kapsoft Nice! Just ordered it. It's being sent via regular postal letter mail, right?
  16. @Adam_Giambrone: What safeguards ensure that TTC staff aren't token hoarding?
  17. @qrunchmonkey 1 day or 2.
  18. I gave up on ß versions after trying to get 2 people setup. Hard to believe this guy has 5 types of iphone beta testers! http://is.gd/51UaC
  19. RT @Aimee_B_Loved: OMG! My cell phone is so awesome! I just found out it can make calls, too!
  20. iPhone UI stencil is cool. But $15 to ship to Canada is ridiculous. http://www.uistencils.com/ #iphonedev
