@ I know for certain that updates would appear on the new releases list in August 2009. Think the change was in last 2-4 weeks.

@ I checked, still no Genius in US or Canadian App Store app. Still just "New" and "What's Hot". Oh, maybe you're running 3.1?

@ It was rumoured, then I saw it in iTunesConnect FAQ under "App Store", then it happened.

@ Yes, the update system was abused. But now no incentive to add features for free. Better to create a new app "BlahBlah 2".

Apps no longer get bumped to the top on new version. Well, that's one way to discourage devs from providing free updates.

An easy way to clear out the crap in the AppStore: Require that each app icon is unique. (Travel area is full of shovelware.)

There’s a reason why it’s “scapegoat” and not “scapewolf” or “scapelion”. [from comment @: ]

Wow. Impressed with how many sneaky bugs (including ones I didn't even know I had) are caught with "Build and Analyze" in Xcode.

@ Looks similar to the iphone interface. But the popup windows, pulldown menus and embedded windows-media is not so hot.

@ Whew! Thanks. UPS and other couriers screw Canadians over with nasty brokerage fees. e.g. $20 fee to collect $2.

@ A shocking number of places are gone on that strip of Queen now. Slowly turning into a ghost town.

@ I blame the beta process. Far too painful for regular people. UDID, certificates, unzipping, drag into iTunes, syncing, etc.

iPhone UI stencil is cool. But $15 to ship to Canada is ridiculous.
