  1. Watching the sun set from @palisadedlp 's new office, watched sunrise over old office. Jetlag does not an efficient mover make.
  2. Have landed where the stars at night are big and bright. Last flight boarding in 15 min. Sleep in our own bed beckons.
  3. Iberian Campaign, Summary- Headed back to Estados Unidos after 18427km traveled by air, ~3000km traveled by car, and probably same by foot.
  4. Up and at em in Barcelona. Quick shower/shave then off to airport for 16 hours of travel home so we can move @palisadedlp in the morning!
  5. Emma finishing up vacation math and spelling homework in the hotel room before our flight tomorrow. She'll be current when she gets back!

  7. Ok Tweeple, what are the coolest office accessories/IO devices/schwag that you would suggest for my new office? Award for first place!!
  8. Iberian Campaign, Day 13- Barcelona Forced March shopping. Compared to @j9renaud on a shopping bender, Hannibal&Caesar's troops were lucky!
  9. Have achieved maximum Jamon saturation point.
  10. Janene has successfully talked the girls down from the rooftop pool. Thankfully so, it's only 59 degrees F, and water temp 45 deg F.
  11. Iberian Campagn, Days 9-12- Lost in the Alhambra Gardens, drove from Granada to Barcelona (950km), and now off to see a some churches!
  12. Iberian Campaign, Day 9-Watching the beautiful sunset over the hills of Granada, the most frustrating city to drive around in the universe.
  13. The bell-ringers of Seville Cathedral evidently decided on a John Cage composition for the last 15 minutes to commemorate All Saints Day.
  14. And the Sangria was sooooo good, I must have slipped a day. It's Day 8.
  15. Iberian Campaign, Day 7- New room facing interior courtyard, + everyone full of Tapas (and some of us full of Sangria). Seville Siesta!
  16. Barrio Santa Cruz does have the disadvantage of narrow tall streets packed with drunken foreigners, however.
  17. Iberian Campaign, Day 7- Algarve and Andalucia. In some lovely apartments in Barrio Santa Cruz in Seville for a bit.
  18. Crossing into the Algarve.
  19. Had an amazing meal at Porto Santa Maria in Cascais last night. Portuguese cuisine is redeemed!!
  20. Because my total philosophy of life can be decronstructed into "Would you like heavenly pie or secret cake?". The answer is obviously "BOTH"
