  1. @noazark You're too young to be bitchin like that.
  2. RT @jeffreybarke: Congratulations to @nickbilton, the new lead writer for the NYT's Bits technology blog: http://bit.ly/2Uxze9
  3. @swords Doesn't what?
  4. Influence charts are fun!
  5. RT @bjepson: FoxNY on @NYCResistor. I love how the reporter shares his excitement about the laser. http://bit.ly/mW4kg
  6. @kellbot I'm disappointed to hear that you're sick but I hope you feel great soon! Relax.
  7. @AJsRndmMusings Must be "old hat" to them now. I did enjoy walking into the mobile store in Ireland and easily getting a prepaid SIM.
  8. @AJsRndmMusings I have a few people from Europe in my twitter stream, they don't seem to be nearly as rabid about mobiles as we are.
  9. @maximka Negative it is NOT napping if you start at midnight. I am very experienced in this area, it's a disorder. :P
  10. Slashdot claims the Droid don't do tethering yet. Phones have been able to do this for years, so why not now?
  11. @openfly Cold dead hands! Or carpal tunnel syndrome.
  12. Song link for the ill-equipped 80's kid: http://bit.ly/1eDZtf
  13. @bluesmoon == pure energy (cue Information Society "What's On Your Mind")
  14. @bluesmoon Might be interesting to tinker with for awhile, not altogether practical!
  15. @bluesmoon Wiki agrees. I'm thinking a multichemical mask which dispenses a hit of pure oxygen with a selectable distinct odor to "bookmark"
  16. @bluesmoon Based on this link, it looks like we wish to coerce "involuntary" memory into doing our bidding.
  17. @bluesmoon Negative. Where did you hear about Proust? Thanks for the reference!
  18. (or the other way, round) Why not use specific smells to intentionally form a stronger memory of something you want to remember well?
  19. I have an idea for a gadget that uses smells as "mental bookmarking" when you're out in the world. Smells can strongly bond to memories.
  20. I also tend to only listen to BT's "This Binary Universe" when I am coding. Same association. Do YOU use songs as "mental bookmarks?"
