  1. Working on an invited paper for Self-X Systems. I have a novel idea about how to build self-replicating robots.
  2. I am seldom on Twitter these days. Why would JADTexas want to follow me?
  3. Tape rewind is complete. The Partial Constructor built phase two, and re-winded the tape.
  4. Partial constructor is now rewinding its tape, after constructing phase two of itself.
  5. scarr@mun.ca is seeking a MSc/PhD student for DNA sequencing microarray analysis of invertibrate(Caribou) genomes.
  6. Correction of the partial constructor is easy; just a little time.
  7. Correcting what appears to be the last error in the partial constructor - it can't downward retact the CArm.
  8. Sitting in class, waiting for Christoph W. Sensen - to instruct us in Magpie.
  9. Have partial constructor adding phase two (tape rewind) to itself.
  10. Demo's of the partial constructor, and two of its holistic sister configurations, have been sent to key researchers. Also to Tom Barbalet.
  11. Just sent a demo RLE file to all the CA researchers I know, showing a vNSRCA, that uses no signal crossing, and is built of one std. part.
  12. The partial constructor (in holistic form) now constructs, replicates the tape, and almost starts the construct. Time to build a tape.
  13. That is a very interesting construction, Gerald.
  14. Redesigned the construction arm signal generator. Demonstration of holistic self-replication for the partial constructor in about 10 days.
  15. The partial constructor is now configured for holistic self-replication, with phases one and two completely programmed.
  16. Twitter needs to time-stamp posts, in addition to indicating their age.
  17. Eating dinner (thresher shark, cucumber slices, and chocolate cake, and washing it down with Obsidian Stout), and reading Gordon's tome.
  18. Loved the automation - now, about milking diatoms, listen to Science Friday on NPR - Richard Gordon gives the interview.
  19. I've been gone for a while. What automation, Doom?
  20. Read Jesper Hoffmeyer''s Biosemiotics#readingodyssey
