  1. Saw GWAR tonight (my 5th time) on their 25th Anniversary tour. They're still amazing. A spacebaby was raped by MJ, and also a sword.
  2. New York, I Love You (2009, a bunch of assholes, 35mm) - 1.0 Wretched garbage about intolerable people. The worst fucking film of the year.
  3. Precious (2009, Lee Daniels, 35mm) - 9.5 Bleak story made in a surprisingly charming manner. The more I think about it, the more I love it.
  4. Off to see 2 more movies.
  5. House of the Devil (2009, Ti West, 35mm) - 8.5 Slow pace, but not in a boring way. I loved it while watching, but it did have some issues.
  6. Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans (2009, Werner Herzog, 35mm) - 9.5 Gritty and funny and amazing. One of Herzog's, and Cage's, best.
  7. Reviews http://y.ly/ahb Reservoir Dogs, Moon, UglyTruth, Funny People, Julie&Julia, Pink Flamingos, Poltergeist, Inglourious Basterds, Rambo
  8. Wrote review for Showgirls that'll def. change your mind if you don't love the movie. Here's a tease: "visceral arousal". Will post Monday.
  9. 2012 (2009, Roland Emmerich, 35mm, Van Ness) - 8.0 Epic and ridiculous and great, but honestly, not enough destruction worldwide.
  10. Spent a very long day shooting Episode 2 of Capturin' the Freedmans. It is definitely one of our best episodes so far.
  11. More Reviews http://tr.im/EUMF Hollow Man, 500 Days of Summer, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Old Boy, Lady Vengeance, Thirst, Daisy of Love S1
  12. Reviews http://tr.im/EUtC WarGames, Red Dawn, Invasion USA, Heathers, Dream to Believe, The Promotion, Genital Hospital, Quick and the Dead
  13. Scarecrow (1973, Jerry Schatzberg, 35mm, Castro) - 7.0 Not too engaging, but pretty good.
  14. Dog Day Afternoon (Rewatch, 1975, Sidney Lumet, 35mm, Castro) - 10.0 My favorite bank robbery movie. Pacino's amazing.
  15. Saw VI (2009, Kevin Greutert, 35mm, Van Ness) - 7.0 Too many confusing plot intricacies, not enough gore. Few good moments make it worth it.
  16. Linda Blair Reviews http://tr.im/EN9y Fatal Bond, Double Blast, The Heart of the Lie, Moving Target, Roller Boogie, Repossessed
  17. Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (1992, Anthony Hickox, DVD) - 8.0 Somewhat slow first hour, gets amazing in the last third.
  18. @MontanaGlass I agree about Hell Ride. It was my least favorite movie of last year. Bishop is fucking horrible.
  19. Reviews http://tr.im/Ev9o Independence Day, Hurt Locker, Harry Potter 6, S Club 7 in Miami/LA, Party Down S1, How Not to Make a Short Film
  20. True Romance, Natural Born Killers, and The Doom Generation all 10.0s. Latter 2 old faves, seen dozens of times, TR was equally amazing.
