  1. @fabulouslorrain I'm so very glad the Royals have found a home with you; I'd been thinking it sounded right. Best wishes for all!
  2. It's kinda cool that our dentist is two blocks away; they called to see if husband could show up early.
  3. I didn't join MeFi 'til 2000 and was user #648-- still haven't posted & have only commented twice. D'oh! (Happy anniversary!)
  4. Thinking I might finally read the Harry Potter books. Man, I really need to start a blog at belatedly.com where I post about this stuff.
  5. @theJBRU Gah, so minimal rain. Hope we still get predicted t-storms.
  6. Did it actually rain in the Twin Cities today or overnight? They've forecast it & been wrong so often, I'm stunned.
  7. Obsessive compulsives who are recovering shopaholics should not go near eBay, Amazon, etsy, & Craig's List. I spend hours & hours there.
  8. I haven't watched the pilots for fall yet nor some of the forthcoming summer series as I'd rather watch baseball or movies. Or read.
  9. I'm burnt out on all things TV right now. Can tell which summer shows I really like by whether I watch 'em. (Closer, Burn Notice, Eureka)
  10. @fabulouslorrain (That same person would surely freak over cats on tables or any little thing.)
  11. @fabulouslorrain I know someone who can't abide eating out of a dish that was used for cat food, even after being run thru dishwasher.
  12. Amazon Prime causes me to try to buy everything at Amazon.com-- very sneaky, Amazon! (Found a hot tub that ships via Prime. Eek!)
  13. Having central air (+ sleeping in basement) means one can use flannel sheets year round. This makes me happy.
  14. Fri evening of watching Torchwood, Twins game. There will be raspberry cake from Wuollet later. Belated bday cake.
  15. Husband now admits he was wrong in his assertion about the age of Perry Mason viewers.
  16. It would be amusing to make Perry Mason a trending topic. Episodes online: http://bit.ly/7Jjbf
  17. Husband thinks I'm weird for saying re Perry Mason, "I liked it as a little kid, I'm not sure I'd like it now." Says it wasn't a kids show.
  18. Husband is now rolling his eyes as I report ages of people who did & did not watch Perry Mason. Behold the power of the net!
  19. 'Course I've watched tons of old movies & TV shows, and listen to some old music. That's just how I roll.
  20. Husband claims that no one my age or younger has watched Perry Mason. Hey! (I just turned 38.)
