  1. @scottisafool In general bands do tend to 'sound the same' (espcially on an album), but doesn't get said much by those who like the band
  2. @DavidGouge @scottisafool Another step further is music; 'All their stuff sounds the same' which is actually 'I don't like it'
  3. 5 yr old apparently 'gojjed' to swimming pool this morning. Great sunny weather for farmer's markets and, hopefully, for fireworks later.
  4. Virgin Money (MBNA) just rang to query a small 97p purchase as a security issue. Payable to ..... Virgin Mobile (for a new SIM). LOL
  5. Arrived home somewhat less dry than when I left the office at Kew. Bike now creating mini paddling pool in hallway.
  6. That's me done for today. Time to get into bike stuff, don the flourescent jacket and weave my way home through Kew and Brentford.
  7. On the plus side, if I hadn't had NUnit all over it I'd be swearing at the Visual Studio debugger quite a lot more than I already was.
  8. Well, that was a bloody horrible last hour track down a crappy logic bug through VS2003/Nunit under XP VM into VS2008/NUnit in Win7. Grrr.
  9. @timalmond Sealed flask, not an open mug. Important difference.
  10. @harriyott Yesterday lunch was chips with mayo on some homemade bread. Simple but very nice. Vectis Malty flour makes cracking bread.
  11. @harriyott Cheese and biccies at work is normal, blue cheese from butcher's in Kew. Choccie Almonds were a freebie from organic shop at Kew.
  12. Who needs USB powered mug warmers, just put your flask of coffee next to the air out vent on the laptop. Toasty :-)
  13. Oooo espresso time ... with some chocolate coated almonds I think.
  14. @ericnel 20 hr shift at Sky News, Isleworth. My (VB6) software displayed the on screen clock with flags/times for 20+ countries.
  15. Amazon just sent me an e-mail for 'Testing ASP.NET Web Applications' - only mentions Jeff McWherter, no @Ben_Hall :-( #amazonfail

  17. @annwitbrock Try http://bit.ly/egJs5, link to Peli de Halleux's (@pelikhan) blog is on there too
  18. Thanks to @zimakki for organising and @andrew_myhre for excellent work behind the bar. #ldnug
  19. Looking forward to getting my 'upgrade' to VS Ultimate in March with the new stub and mole testing framework #ldnug
  20. Really enjoyed #ldnug last night. @pelikhan was a great speaker. Improvements to testing framework from Microsoft Research are fantastic.
