  1. @innismir I'm interested in joining Ham Twits! - Good idea. It'll bring some new life to the (ham|twit)erverse...
  2. Nothing but a couple bogus hits on the last days 6 meter WSPR. Sometimes the #hamradio hits - sometimes we have to keep trying.
  3. Watching a #hamradio 2400 baud TNC counting down on EBAY. Would be fun but price is up there and sound cards can now do the same..
  4. @bigtater2300 Hi Jeff. I'm on with WSPR - which is full time digital mode. Do you have a soundcard interface on your radio?
  5. @KC2TPY 2 HF #hamradio bands - good question! How about 40 for regional and 15 for DX? Or maybe 80 for local and 30 for digital (cw etc)
  6. CQ #hamradio #wspr on 50.293 MHz. Is there anybody out there? I had to swap all three of my VHF/UHF antenna leads to get the 6 mtr rig on
  7. @n7bcp 1.836 MHz or 18.36 MHz? I see you're also on 50.293. Haven't heard anything here yet but will leave it on for a couple days.
  8. @nz3m Looks like some locals and I are going to try WSPR on 6 tonight to see what we can hear locally.
  9. @nz3m Thanks for the frequencies. That will help. Nice page at http://www.6metersonline.com
  10. @nz3m jt65a? I'm still looking for my first JT65A qso. been having great time with WSPR. Usually just 80 and 40 open after work.
  11. #BPQ32 in beta testing support for Pactor by SCS and KAM TNC's. This is a good step forward for #hamradio.
  12. #WSPR last night on #hamardio 80 meters. VE5, VE3 and ZL2RX. Cool!
  13. 10 minutes hardware upgrades (Linux and win) have burned the morning. Still hoping to be transmitting 9600 #hamradio packet by days end
  14. CW playing downstairs in the radio room, Old server is shutting down so I can pull the 'good' disk for a new project. Onward!
  15. The (old) 12V battery that's outside the ham shack is finally connected. Power poles no less. A good step towards off grid #aprs #hamradio
  16. Soldering the #hamrdio universal Anderson Power Pole connector seems to work much better for me then the crimpers.
  17. Step by step we make progress. Today the 9600 #hamradio #packet is wired. The IN light on the TNC blinks but not the KISS out light. Sigh
  18. It was good so see my #hamradio #wspr has been copied by a friend all the way down in New Castle..
  19. Normally this time of night I'd move my #hamradio #wspr station to 40 or 80 meters. Tonight I'll let it ride on 30 and see what happens.
  20. @kd0bik #WSPR #hamradio CAT control is indeed FB. But now I need a different antenna scheme. Manually tuning is a hassle.
