  10. Grabbing the new Ubuntu release through bittorrent. It's much faster than the ~4KBps http download I gave up on. Thanks Pirate Bay!
  11. Just flashed my Linksys router with DD-WRT and upgraded to v24sp1. First time using wired Ethernet on my mbp in a year.

  14. Drag volumes out of the Finder sidebar and they won't appear there anymore the next time it is mounted.
  15. Upgraded to RSpec 1.1.8. bah... no git tags so using gems instead. don't do config.gem "rspec-rails" else generators and tests will fail.
  16. Just threw a bunch of semi-random minutes into a calories burned calculator and the answer was 1,337.
  17. Visited Univercity at SFU today, nice neighbourhood. Also lots of shops and stores.
  18. "git submodule status" in the root directory reveals the revision/tag of the project's submodules. Sweet!
