  9. BTW.. MySpace uses 3Par SANs - but they're rolling 5x1024 dedicated drives (Savvis, can you hear me knocking?)
  10. Ugh LA traffic - good luck PDC folks trying to get to Universal Studios tonight - an hour for 8 miles
  11. Amazon.com cloud computing spy sitting in front of me relaying information about Azure data services to the home office... lol
  12. Looking at code used in the nbcolympics.com logging service. Lightbulb: CLR deserialization in sql rather than open xml. So sweet.
  13. Visual Studio 2010 written in WPF and supports multiple monitors from the IDE. Just saw WPF gui element dropped into the code editor.Awesome
  14. Ready for day 2 #pdc08 - windows 7 - better seat for the keynote today
  15. How many ways can you pronounce "Azure"? I've heard 5 different versions today from Microsoft presenters
  16. Dynamic types (think perl flexibility) and optional method params with default values. It feels like 1994 :)
  17. Just saw dynamic typing used to invoke native javascript in the c# code behind. Amazing - can do the same for python & ruby
  18. Anders Hejlsberg on the future of c#... Declaritive, parallel, dynamic code support, concurrency. Moore's law is not sustaining, design ...
  19. Microsoft cloud computing = Windows Azure
  20. PDC - Traffic in Seattle is light speed compared to LA. Finally here watching Ray Ozzie deliver keynote
