  1. @loosecjcannon mIRGGI was a reasonable IRC client, last time I checked
  2. @EverythingBlaxx Sorry about that, by the way. Still, it's Open Source. This is the time to do something about your @Symbian-related woes.
  3. @EverythingBlaxx Point in case - Android still doesn't support installation of applications, or message DB storage on external Flash OOTB
  4. @EverythingBlaxx I was comparing it to the Symbian Platform. It doesn't help that you're conflating the UI layers with the core OS, either.
  5. @EverythingBlaxx Oh, puh-lease. @Symbian are not going away any time soon, no matter how much you keep wishing... You're driving away devs.
  6. @brendan_donegan The Android UI even looks outdated to me. No seamless statusbar, "designed in China" icons and Win3.1-style widgets...
  7. @brendan_donegan I have a feeling that you'll love the slide deck and commentary, at http://tr.im/android_mythbu..., then. ;)
  8. @victorpalau I see that the clean-up crew have arrived to take said files away... ;)
  9. @victorpalau http://code.google.com/p/un... is where I'm documenting my progress, so far, if you're interested.
  10. @victorpalau Will do, tomorrow. I've been documenting what I've done so far, but I suspect a missing component, or a detection problem...
  11. @victorpalau On that note, whilst trying to get EUserHL working with Syborg, I seem to be getting stuck at "Not found" w/the example EXE :(
  12. @victorpalau A wonderful sight, indeed. It wasn't too long ago when I conversed with @wtroberts about ETel and QEMU, either...
  13. @brendan_donegan Thanks for the clarification. I remember seeing similar files in the past outside of the Foundation repositories, in SDKs.
  14. @brendan_donegan /oss/FCL/sf/incubator/modemadaptation/ to be precise, as far as package and codeline are concerned...
  15. @brendan_donegan It's the brand new modemadaptation source code drop - described as "Vanilla" by Nokia themselves in the initial SCM commit.
  16. Wondering what the deal is with the "distribution.policy" files in the @Symbian packages containing seemingly random numbers...
  17. Surprised to see that a Carbon application under Rosetta is hogging more resources than Windows XP under VirtualBox, at the moment...
  18. @mixdev The 5800 XpressMusic looks promising
  19. Pondering trying to build a Syborg ROM image containing the EUserHL DLLs, without access to their source code...
  20. @dw2 Sounds like a perfect example of bad software design, to me. And to think that it's gaining in popularity (at least in the US), too :(
