  6. Impulse buy at the store today: 2 persimmons (1 Fuyu, 1 Hachiya). This time I'll wait until they are ripe... learned my lesson last time

  14. We got home from our library walk just in time to avoid a massive downpour! Now we can stay in the cozy house & dance & read all afternoon.
  15. Picked up some Frances England CD's at the library on a whim today. Listened to them over lunch and fell in love.
  16. Pizza night! 2 pies today: Roasted squash/onion/sage, and fig/spinach/pine nut, both topped with V'con's cashew ricotta. Heaven.
  17. Apologies for my long Twitter silence. Just been busy. But I'm back now!
  18. Cloudy. Drizzly. Chilly. Perfect weather for roasted squash and braised kale. Hooray for autumn!
  19. Our CSA storage share arrived this week, so now we have plenty of onions, garlic, shallots and squash to last.. well a few months anyway
  20. I missed World Veg Day yesterday... Oct 1 snuck up on me as usual. Luckily we have all of Oct to celebrate Vegetarian Awareness Month!
