  1. Agreed! RT @JesseLiberty: Stop coding in Xaml - that's what tools are for
  2. @kelps Good for you... I have to buy a plane ticket, hotel and Mix ticket to go there. Guess I'll skip unless I win the lottery :(
  3. @kelps Its nothing like the Surface SDK, but can be a start... I haven't seen more than the file structure myself, but no Scatterview there.
  4. @kelps Now I have to get used to your new avatar... but at least I won't greet E.T. with "Hi, are you kelps?" :)
  5. @kelps Have you seen this? http://is.gd/52ZpQ Microsoft Surface Manipulations and Inertia Sample for Microsoft Silverlight
  6. @kelps Another achievement unlocked: Layout section is finished for the book. Yaaay! Next up: Databinding or Styles, depending on my mood.
  7. @kelps Yes, we are both right. SL relaxes the platform independency for some highly requested features, like touch or Office integration
  8. @kelps It still wont work if you designed it to be multitouch... you will still have to do platform checks and disappoint some of ur users.
  9. @josefajardo, @kelps Not IMHO.Does having access to Win7 touch on Win7 break the WPF story on XP?Just be careful when to use the extra stuff
  10. @JustinAngel Don't hold yourself back, Justin. We would love to see the show!
  11. @kelps #Silverlight A5, with big nice letters :) But I think I've got it. Does not fit in 140 chars though :)
  12. OK, here is a tough one. How do you explain #Silverlight Grid in one book page, including sample code and screenshot?
  13. @DavidJKelley Tricky!
  14. @Wessty I haven't really blogged for a while, because of the book - but I have tons of plans. Looking forward to your stuff!
  15. @Wessty Thanks, I am blushing... If by any chance, you want more than 5 minutes of me, check out my blog: http://vbandi.dotneteers.net
  16. @migueldeicaza Yeah, especially as @JustinAngel said, you can work around the security with elevated trust COM objects.
  17. @JustinAngel that would probably work...all the less reason for allowing full access, if you can work around it anyways.
  18. @migueldeicaza Unfortunately, Silverlight 4 only allows access to the MyXXX folders, not the full filesystem in Elevated Trust mode
  19. @zoltanarvai What kind of phone?
  20. @seesmic: My wishlist for #Seesmic 4 win: Smooth Scrolling, nickname intellisense, inline link shorter and proper one column mode
