  2. Watched the trailer for Avatar. I look forward to Sigourney Weaver and Sam Worthington, but the 3D makes me uneasy.
  3. There was an Interview with Frank Schätzing for the radio (Bayern2) in Gasteig. His last book with 1300 pages is too much for my german.

  5. Last Sunday we took the Munich-Airport tour. You go with a bus through the buildings and around the runways and are told interesting facts
  6. I quite like the Beyonce video for "If I were a boy". It's really a short movie, and I like her acting too (and, not a surprise, the song)
  7. I didn't get the job but I learned something from the experience. Moving on.
  8. I had a two hour job-interview this morning. Now I am watching P!nk videos on YouTube

  11. Back from the holidays, a time without internet and even books. It does take a few days to get rid of the jet lag. Ready for the Oktoberfest
  12. a DVD night watching the movie Sex and the city. I find it romantic, funny and entertaining, although I can't compare it with the TV series
  13. I've enjoyed reading the novella Home Truths by David Lodge, based on his original play. From the same author I recommend Nice Work too.
  14. My mother baked me a birthday lemon cake, my favourite. The candles kept sinking in the cream, but my sister fixed it with pins and cookies
  15. Hiking today in mount Naranco with a stop by the church San Miguel de Lillo (IX Century) http://bit.ly/VFUK3
  16. This sunny afternoon in Oviedo we went strolling in the old town and I saw it with the eyes of a tourist. I learned some names of streets.
  17. I have written my first customer review at amazon.de. They send you an E-Mail roughly a month after the purchase to ask you to do it.
  18. Asturias is not what you expect when you think about Spain: http://bit.ly/2wf5l7
  19. Celebrating my mother's birthday in Oviedo for the first time in years, instead of just through a long-distance phone call. Alles Gute!
  20. Lord Leighton's exhibition in the Villa Stuck is worth seeing. I wouldn't mind taking home the bronze sculpture of the athlete and the snake
