  17. One of my favorite mackerel in from Japan today- Sawara. We lightly roast it on the skin side to add a depth of flavor.

  20. New dish tonight- Yu Tofu with Gindara- silken tofu and black cod boiled with kombu broth. Great for a cold evening.
