  1. I'm amazed every year that grown men line up to see a movie based on a children's book.
  2. Jason Molina in the @woxy lounge, sounding amazing. http://yfrog.com/5ehxlj
  3. Did you know that when Photoshop exports a 24-bit PNG, it's actually 32-bit? Fireworks gets this right. PNG + transparency = 32-bit.
  4. Man, @freshbooks is down again. Running yer business online has its downsides.
  5. Someone outside my window is singing the $5 footlong jingle. That's some sticky content.
  6. Why does Walnut between 4th and 5th always smell so bad? I feel sorry for the delis.
  7. At in-law's family reunion. With a DJ. Playing music worse than a Kentucky prom. Loudly.
  8. If you think code can be poetry, that objects should be oriented, and form & function were created equal, let's chat about working together.
  9. Super-disappointed that Habenero replaced their shredded pork. The quesadillas are just not the same. Bring it back, Max!
  10. The folks setting up for the Riverspan event this weekend are tearing up the Purple People Bridge. I hope Newport got a deposit.
  11. Josh commented at dinner one evening "Sliders are the new quesadillas". The words rang true: http://slidersarethenewques...
  12. @karlwilbur you may be frustrated with PayPal right now -- but whatever you do, don't be tempted by Google Checkout. Even worse.
  13. @funnyindian If everyone checked snopes before forwarding stupid emails, you wouldn't be able to send all those snarky replies.
  14. @jlarmstrong Ruby methods which modify the receiver contain ! (eg arr.flatten!) and methods which return a boolean contain ? (eg arr.empty?)
  15. @jlarmstrong The Array class inconsistently returning true/false for some methods and a new array for others. Ruby is much more explicit.
  16. I can not, in words, express my distaste for PHP.
  17. @BKeenan Just keep in mind that (afaik) none of the Basecamp iPhone apps show attachments, which makes it hard for me to use.
  18. @spotlets The Lavomatic site is consistently causing Safari 3 to crash on my old iBook G4.
  19. @prblog I just had to look up the definition of Tuckpointing. Very cool, be sure to take some photos of the work! http://tinyurl.com/mlrl2l
  20. @dackdotcom Wholeheartedly agree on EBTG. Thanks to SNL and Mango, it's even hard to bring up as a recommendation.
