  1. TypeSelect in action at http://civiccenter.fountaininn.org/
  2. @EvilMammoth Post a link on the forum: http://bit.ly/19gqab and we'll have a look.
  3. @bendobos Thanks so much. The usage page is the 1st page we need help with @ownindustries also offered to help w. German. Y'all should talk.
  4. @magrio Thanks for the offer @wjgarcia is working on that right now as well. Maybe y'all can get together on the translation
  5. or quiet not quite. You guys are smart and know what we mean.
  6. Sorry we've been quite this week, we've been working on getting TypeSelect selectable in IE. We think we've got it!
  7. Our blog post on the launching of TypeSelect is up http://bit.ly/2RfmW
  8. @wjgarcia Thanks for the offer. I'll send you an email. I know we'd love to have some help with the instructions if nothing else.
  9. @ownindustries We'd love some help with German
  10. @wjgarcia Spanish, Portuguese, Danish and French are all popular languages right now. But any non-English would be good.
  11. TypeSelect has hit Digg http://digg.com/d1wa8j?t
  12. We're getting a ton of traffic from all over the globe. Anyone that wants to help with translations etc let us know.
  13. @millisami can you send a link?
  14. David Chester, the genius behind Typeface.js, is experimenting with a similar selection approach. http://tinyurl.com/nxyuut
  15. @aeoth does the onResize javascript event work for text resizing?
  16. @simonnickel Thanks for kind words. Opera is going to be tougher nut to crack than IE. Opera requires the font to be on your CPU.
  17. @aeoth browser-zooming scales a PNG image. I plan to detect +/- keystrokes and re-render the PNG on the fly--hopefully solving the prob.
  18. http://twitpic.com/9xean - Cheers to all. Thanks to everyone who discovered and spread the word of @typeselect today
  19. @Marketplicity I'd be surprised if TypeSelect has negative SEO effects, at least it shouldn't anymore than other text-replacement approaches
  20. Thanks to @smashingmag for the tweet and welcome all those who have found us via Twitter. More, we're just ramping up... more to come
