  1. hell, damn, crap - I didn't sign up in time for White Rock Half and now it's sold out. Need an alternate race in mid-December. Suggestions?
  2. Ran 5k around school during Scouts- worked out soreness from yesterday's long run. Glad there were gloves in the glove compartment, though!
  3. @iJuls beyond awesome - so happy for you. I know from experience long commute can be a soul-sucker, esp if job at end isn't the right fit.
  4. @JStro72 LOVE the shots on goal ratio! Those boys were working this morning - glad they finally cracked that goalie in the third.
  5. Finally got out after early hockey game & NICE nap. Ran 7.5 miles in 1:17 - weather misty & drizzly - love those kind of afternoon runs!
  6. @iJuls I think those were The Biggest Loser - always run during show, or try to get back before it comes on! Sadly, not about MY weight!
  7. I just generated my #TweetCloud out of a month of my tweets. Top three words: miles, trot, loser - http://w33.us/1zw9
  8. Official time for this year's 10K Trot was 1:05:20.6 - I'll take it considering I've been hacking like Doc Holliday the last two weeks!
  9. @batgrlSullivan Ben complained about having to wear shoes at the dinner table. :) Hope you & Jon had a great day, dress shirt or not!
  10. 40 degrees, PB & honey on wheat, headed to Cowtown... sounds familiar. Must be Turkey Trot Day! I've heard there's this big meal later?
  11. still coughing too much to run; should've walked on TM but haven't eaten much either. bleargh. Will prob only do 5K at Turkey Trot now :(
  12. @JStro72 hadn't looked at Wave til now; looks like a cool way to collaborate. I can see using it to coordinate DSS schtuff & share info/pix
  13. @xt4 very nice - similar weather here. finishing a work doc hanging over my head. should get off twitter so I can run outside before dark.
  14. @Troy_Aikman um, that would be in Arlington, Troy, not Dallas! ;)
  15. Can I make last week a do-over? No matter - ran 2.5 miles to park for a 3.3 mile walk. Good to get back at it, stuffy nose & cough or not.
  16. another Sunday, another long run NOT done. Argh. Going to totally bite it @ White Rock if I don't crank it up soon.
  17. Run through the park seemed really hard; realized why when I mapped & calced my pace - 3.4 miles at 9:55 splits. Cool. Go me. ;)
  18. 5.8 miles in a 10:35 pace. That included stops at lights & for cars. Still too hot in N Texas.
  19. Biggest Loser night meant treadmill run today - must there be so many commercials and scary music during the weigh-ins? Really? 4.0 miles.
  20. ran 4.2 miles around the school during the boy's Scout mtg; little slower than I'd like since it was dark out and the sidewalks were bumpy.
