  1. @Cynicor You can also see why I don't miss living in my home state of Tennessee.
  2. Brizzly now supports Twitter lists. It is fast becoming my favorite Twitter client. http://bit.ly/NYO7P
  3. Yippee! David duChemin's latest eBook, CHASING THE LOOK, is available. Just US$5. http://tww.me/m
  4. Someone down the hallway has the theme from The Office as a ringtone and now the song is stuck in my head.
  5. RT @deuhlig: Designers: A fantastic Flickr/Color tool - http://bit.ly/17oJ7t (via @RizzoTees)
  6. How to play piano like Philip Glass: http://tww.me/k
  7. @greggscycles I'm not sure it's that good, but I have been gathering the cycling-focused people that I follow in @twwilliams/cycling
  8. @paulbutzi I got to play with both a Cintiq and an Intuos 4 today. I want that Intuos 4 pretty badly.
  9. Copying files to new drives: easier to recover from failures with Windows Home Server than other NAS devices but mine has failed more often.
  10. Glad the Yankees won because that means I don't have to hear any more about baseball for a few months. Let the peaceful winter begin.
  11. A real mind bomb from Dave Winer: Don't change the world, let the world change you. http://tww.me/j
  12. Glad to see that work has started on Dynamic Galleries (aka virtual galleries) at SmugMug.
  13. Anyone who has ridden a bike in downtown Bellevue won't be surprised that the bike-friendly candidates are all losing: http://tww.me/i
  14. Tonight is the first time in many months that I was glad to have my bicycle tights. Guess the shorts are just about done until Spring.
  15. @rhodeskc The simplest choice would just be to move it to another room. :)
  16. The new "green" drives from WD and Seagate are *quiet.* Now if I could just do something about the fans in my HP Windows Home Server.
  17. Flickr must store ISO speeds as 16-bit values and so can't handle ISO 102400 from cameras like the new Canon 1D MkIV: http://tww.me/h
  18. @TheLightroomLab I'm curious: why is it your favorite? I'm thinking about portable external drives as well. 250GB seems a bit small, though.
  19. @rhodeskc No, I have a Windows Home Server, and then the other is an external drive local to the machine. Much faster than network to WHS.
  20. Just picked up 4.5TB of hard drives--the way I set things up, though, that only means an additional 1.5TB of space for photos.
