  1. Mother's Day dinner at the local Japanese restaurant. A rest day for me. A happy day to all hardworking Moms...
  2. Spring break, Starbucks, Caramel machiatto, perfect oatmeal, and watching the rain.
  3. Making homemade hot choc: cocoa, powdered sug, cin., vanilla, and milk. Heat till almost boiling. Refrigerate leftovers for choc milk.
  4. Made a salad from Veganomicon with fresh bread. That with yoga makes me feel clean and light.
  5. tea from The Tea Zone in Portland, Oregon rocks.
  6. rediscovering my foodie mojo, while trying to drop a few pounds. a challenge in the making.
  7. Scrapping today, maybe a blog post later...LOTS to share...
  8. New camera delivered today. Must cook and photograph tomorrow. I heart Nikon.
  9. Has a totally functional office. Cluttered room = cluttered mind. Perhaps this will open me up to creativity in the kitchen as well?
  10. Looking up marshmallow fondant..train cake, perhaps?
  11. A little under the weather...planning Christmas menu...hoping to blog about homemade gifts from the kitchen tonight.
  12. Gearing up the kitchen for some serious fudge making.
  13. Pretty much exhausted and ready for bed...at 9:02. No Fudge tonight!
  14. Thinking that Starbucks Gingersnap Lattes are pretty much amazing.
  15. Sipping on coffee and trying to decide what I should do next...
  16. just polished off leftover takeout Thai (yum!) and is about to read to her son. Also whipping together goods for gift baskets.
  17. Making a frittata with stuffing and Morning Star scrambles...
  18. Discovered that stuffing, formed into patties, fried, and topped with a runny egg - is DELICIOUS!
  19. Is pondering ways to make stuffing more interesting as a leftover.
  20. Is back in action - and thinks that Garam Masala is a wonderful addition to cranberry sauce!
