  5. Today I met with Joanne, in her 60's she is trying to raise money for her skin cancer treatments, I am will work with her again tues.
  6. In this day and age many people are struggling to make ends meet, Some working thru divorce , some losing their homes. Some very ill
  7. Pray for me, The stories leave me drained of energy by days end. It is difficult work at times as their financial needs are very great.
  8. I meet people in dire financial situations, many with sad,sad stories. I try to help as many as I am able to, I witness to any open minded.
  9. Every day I buy peoples gold jewelry and sometimes I give secured loans on their Diamonds and Rolex watches, Pray for me.
  10. 3rd As a local "service" ministry,We bought gold from folks in the neighborhood, what a turnout and a great chance to witness those in need!
  11. 2nd. In an effort to help church members who need financial help, We bought their gold, paying 45% more than the local pawnshops,helped many
  12. 1st the money was raised by direct donations of church membership. Believers actually donated broken pieces of gold jewelry for offering.
  13. The Church was able to raise just over $12K net. The money was raised in 3 different ways at the same event. Here is how it worked,,
  14. Last week in my first and currently only venture I helped a local church raise money for a new mission field in India, a smash hit!
  15. But the whole thing really got me thinking how I could use my background as a gold buyer to help both church and ministry alike raise money!
  16. I was absolutely astounded by their story, and as a result I also donated to their Church project!
  17. As I usually do, I asked Matt & Angie why they were selling their gold to me, they explained, it was the only way they could raise money.
  18. Sorry about that , took a dinner break in the middle of talking about Matt & Angie, These are the kids that got me working on this project!
  19. Matt & Angie, were selling their broken pieces of gold jewelry to raise money for a local homeless shelter funded in part by their church.
