ttytter

  1. @gshang It isn't, don't worry. :) I should probably put it in the short FAQ.
  2. @gshang TTYtter does not autoshorten, but Twitter will if the URL is over 30 characters; see http://is.gd/1r4Ty
  3. Search appears to be down. If you have tracking keywords, you may wish to temporarily /set notrack 1 to avoid warnings.
  4. @siGhmusic Are you sure it's not a permissions problem on the directory? If you like, send me your code (ckaiser at floodgap).
  5. @martynparker notify-osd is notify-send (i.e., notify-send is the CLI component), unless I am mistaken, which is possible :)
  6. @martynparker Do you mean notify-send? That's on the list along with Growl integration.
  7. @siGhmusic I apologize for the late reply. It does (see the $conclude handler). Is this not what you're observing?
  8. @Ben I'm delighted to be involved in smashing authoritarianism. ;-)
  9. For all you folks asking about groups, the awesome @vkoser comes through again with another extension: http://tinyurl.com/pndbc2
  10. @chadvice If you're not seeing it promptly and you'd like to see them more quickly, you can set -dmpause lower.
  11. @chadvice The fact it appears in /dma means the DM was transmitted and delivered. Auto-DM checks occur on every 4th check.
  12. @chadvice What is your /dmpause setting? If you don't know, you can list it with /print and it will show your current settings.
  13. @chadvice You wouldn't see DMs in your user timeline -- they are not stored there. If you DM yourself, you could do /dmagain.
  14. @chadvice Thanks! I DMed my test account, however, and it comes through. Where are you looking to see if it has been sent?
  15. @chadvice What do you mean, "the response"?
  16. @cspenn You're welcome. Naturally -track as a command option also works (use single quotes to protect spaces and doublequoted terms).
  17. @cspenn Yes, you can. Use the track option: track=#140conf
  18. @velofille No sweat. E-mail them to me: ckaiser at floodgap
  19. @velofille A // will be sent as a tweet (so you can "tweet commands"). Stuck key, maybe?
  20. @velofille Does it appear as /re a8 etc. in your /history when you list it?
