  1. @sparklemedia are they going to have to knock the building down?

  3. @hopelessboss does the floor still vibrate in the james monro?
  4. @sparklemedia you'll be glad to know they're starting to lift the crane now
  5. RT @GrantBell: I'm cohosting a conference for Teens in technology, check it out http://tomorrowswebconf.com Adults welcome ;D
  6. I love live mesh, don't know how I ever lived without it!
  7. @sparklemedia you need a pineapple ring on that
  8. I've cleaned the deep fat fryer and I'm doing some *proper* chips, with fried eggs (they'll be done in a pan)

  12. @intruth we all know MS need a decent competitor, the scary thing is the move towards cloud, makes it much harder to control your data
  13. @intruth yeah I saw that in the news, I'm sure they'd do it very well and offer cool APIs and stuff, but still, it's too much power
  14. @ianbetteridge i just can't help thinking they're up to something in their little googleplex, scheming away
  15. @ianbetteridge alot of their products also seem to be built around gathering market intelligence, from google toolbar to analytics
  16. @ianbetteridge then again how much of their ad revenue comes from gmail/docs/earth etc? They may actually be turning a profit
  17. @ianbetteridge but some companies do very well at being diverse, like MS, difference is their various ops tend to be profitable on their own
  18. there are 4 blokes in a little cage dangling from a crane, looks scary
  19. @ruskin147 what I hate is non-tech news on tech pages, why is a politcal story a tech item just because it mentions the word "blog"?
  20. the little cranes around the big crane weren't enough to move it, they've brought in the big boys now
