  1. RT @LeanKitKanban: Parent/child relationships for cards (stories -> tasks, bugs, etc) near top of backlog. Expect it by end of year. #kanban
  2. @dpjoyce When will their multi tier board be released? #leankit
  3. @mpool Try Quicken. Easily tops Quickbooks (as worst software package).
  4. Working on my speaker submission for #lssc10. Slightly different audience, so requires some tweaking and thought.
  5. @mpool Try Quicken. Easily tops Quickbooks.
  6. @erwilleke Spot on. Sad, but spot on.
  7. @erwilleke @dpjoyce Or the expectation is the "can do" developers will be expected to stay at work until they "have it done." ;-)
  8. @dpjoyce Re: can do devs -- I marvel at the job descriptions that demand a candidate developer be able to "multi-task".
  9. @derickbailey I worked from home for a while, it's a nice not to commute, just remember to close the door on the office!
  10. RT @alshalloway: reading some blogs on kanban. the amount of misinformation/misunderstanding by scrumdamentalists ... is is just staggering.
  11. @mlevison Wasn't that the point of the InfoQ article, that the team didn't make the iteration? Just wondering what you disagree with.
  12. @mlevison Timeboxed Agile asks teams to improve at making iterations. #kanban asks teams to improve at making software.
  13. @mlevison I believe #kanban allows teams to improve by getting out of their way.
  14. @mlevison I do prefer #kanban in most contexts. I don't believe teams improve under pressure.
  15. @mlevison I like using acceptance tests as specification automation, not tools to enhance estimation techniques.
  16. @mlevison How would you know by acceptance tests if a story (or multiple) can't be completed by sprint-end? Are they tools for precision?
  17. RT @agilemanager: Are following @lssc10 for news of Lean Software & Systems Conference 2010? CFP and Reg. open next week #lssc10 #kanban
  18. @mlevison What happens if the root cause analysis shows the bug was produced as a result of rushing to finish the story in the timebox?
  19. @mlevison The sizing of stories is one issue, but I don't see how a last minute bug in a sprint can be called an empirical approach.
  20. @mlevison Re:Ext.Sprints. Doesn't this show the problem with forcing a deterministic structure (timebox) on a non-deterministic process?
