oh and in susan's dream we were chinese buddhist monks. male.
great conversation with susan today about the magical dream she had about the two of us when we first met 8 years ago.
working with tristan on his short story which is quickly becoming a novella (he's reading bits of it at litoutloud on tuesday 5/27)
rearranging crayons after our in-class regression (regression??) exercise.
@spinuzzi yes. exactly like that.
went antiquing in my garage this afternoon. found floppies from ten years ago. miraculously have floppy module and reread ancient history.
@spinuzzi the 50,000 foot view has always worked for me. fasten the jetpacks and just lift off to see things as they really are.
sunshine and happiness. outside building pages for fall online writing classes. everything's always about engagement.
sitting here preparing for classes that start monday -- just really centered and happy.
i did just write "poet to perform" and that bugs me. at friday's write-in a student was positioning herself against page poetry. oh well.
still looking for a poet to perform at the may 27 reading. any detroit, lansing, or ann arbor area poets available on a tuesday night?
wishing i could get helvetica for free. so so tired of all the fonts in my applications.
library research-party reservations in for summer classes. updated teaching blog for summer. student emails pouring in to request a seat.
writing. deep in centered bliss. sunshine and 70 degrees can really rock a girl's world.
completing setup work on a student writers' group blog. ordered moo cards for the april poetry reading. quality writing after dinner.
working on the blog revisions for summer classes. switching podcasting strategy, among other things.
watching teenage boys play foosball
on my way out to meet with the student life director. making speaker/room/food/performance arrangements for the april read-in.
