  8. Sheriff Dart, Comp. Hynes, AG Madigan and members of IDPR have a lot of questions to answer. County Board will not simply give money away.
  9. IL Dept. of Professional Regulation also has investigators and oversight regulatory responsbility. Where were they? Why did they not act?
  10. Taxpayers of Cook County must not be the only ones to shoulder the burden of this failure by Com. Hynes, AG Madigan and state police.
  11. Why did Sheriff Dart, usurp this authority and take it upon himself to encumber only the county, instead of state, taxpayers?
  12. Any and all expenses related to securing the site, investigation, and prosecution should be handled by the state agencies, not Cook County.
  13. Burr Oak Cemetery was/is therefore responsibility of the state government, Comptroller Hynes, state police and AG Madigan.
  14. State statutes provide for State Comptroller to have jurisdiction and oversight responsibility for all state licensed cemeteries.

  16. @FreeSchaumburg You are right, I should have offered kudos to all the citizens who pressured Mayor Larson. Congrats to all of you.
  17. Also, our Gov. Quinn is going to sign a capital bill today that will exponentially explode gambling in Cook County. Another insider deal.
  18. Red-light contracts, lobbying contracts and inside vendor deals, are robbing the suburban taxpayers of scarce resources.
  19. Kudos to Mayor Larson of Schaumburg who will cancel that towns contract and remove red-light cameras.
  20. There are very few, if any, accidents in politics, especially in Cook County. The red-light camera contracts are no accident.
