  1. "When drinking tea, just drink tea." I can't say I'm always a fan of Zen, but when Zen nails it, it N A I L S it. :-)
  2. If Life is living me, all that happens must be fine with Life. Even when it isn't fine with me.
  3. I could say "there's no such thing as enlightenment" but that's no more true than saying "there is enlightenment!" Fingers ---->> moon! :-)
  4. How do you judge someone as enlightened or not? What are the rules? How do you play the enlightened game? What do you get if you win?
  5. Tom Stine c. 2009: "Enlightenment, what a concept." And that's really all it is. Just a concept.
  6. Steve Martin c. 1975: "Reality, what a concept!"
  7. To question and deny is necessary. It is the essence of revolt and without revolt there can be no freedom. -Nisargadatta Maharaj
  8. Only by denying can one live. Assertion is bondage. Nisargadatta
  9. Assertions are usually wrong and denials, right. -Nisargadatta Maharaj
  10. blah blah blah blah blah blah enlightenment blah blah blah blah.... if it weren't so damn funny, it would be pathetically sad. :-) :-(
  11. The more I read about most main stream spiritual teachers the more I think I must be nuts to be doing spiritual teaching! I guess I am nuts!
  12. @duffmcduffee I agree: money problems can't necessarily be solved with "money therapy." The article was just placing $10000 in perspective.
  13. Money quote #2: "Nothing replaces individual prayer, meditation and your personal connection with God on a daily basis." That is soooo true.
  14. Money quote: "For $10,000 you could hire a coach AND a therapist for a year who will give you INDIVIDUALIZED therapy and coaching."
  15. @duffmcduffee @guruphiliac Nice article providing some perspective on $10,000/week retreats: http://bit.ly/1Qfc8v
  16. @guruphiliac I like this comment of yours, Jody: http://bit.ly/25V4RV
  17. @guruphiliac I like your pal Stuart. I agree with him. A distinction lasts only for the moment it is noticed. Then it is gone. Was it real?
  18. RT @guruphiliac I've found that some folks seem to carry a certain, hard-to-pinpoint comfort with their discourse that says "veracity" to me
  19. @guruphiliac It's a question of focus, and only in this moment. And I would never presume to think what I "feel" means diddly! LOL
  20. @guruphiliac What I "feel" is a sense of where someone's attention is in this moment. Is it focused on "me" or is it focused on Being?
